Medical Information
There is no additional fee for medication prescribed by a veterinary doctor; i.e., pills, gels, trans-dermal gels, suspensions, etc.
There is a daily $5 administration fee for injections and inhaler treatments.
Medications are administered during normal business hours only.
Medications will be provided by the cat owner in the original container, labeled with veterinary information and directions. A supplement or over-the-counter medication must be in the original container, as well. Medications not in the original container with the correct dosage cannot and will not be accepted according to state regulations. Please provide enough medication for your cats entire stay; any extra will be returned.
If your kitty is on a complicated medication schedule that is life-sustaining, or your kitty is known to become upset in an unfamiliar place, please board at your vet – it is far safer for kitty to be under their care. We are not vets.
All guests will be subject to a flea check when they come in the building, especially in the summer. If your cat is found to have fleas, we will administer a Capstar (at owner’s expense) to your pet and give them a bath (at owner’s expense), if needed.
ALL cats MUST be spayed or neutered if older than 6 months. Proof required before the start of the stay.
Owners MUST provide proof of up to date Rabies (required) and FVRCP (recommended) vaccines prior to the start of the stay.
Cats requiring fluids, 24 hour monitoring or appear to be sick will not be admitted under any circumstances.
If your cat gets sick while under our care will make every effort to contact you, your emergency contact and your family vet. If we cannot reach anyone, we will use our vet or the emergency cat hospital (depending on the time of day). All expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the owner.
