What are the extra charges at MeowInn?

We pride ourselves in not nickle- and dime-ing you to take care of your kitty friend, but there are a couple of things that require a little extra effort. For instance, routine injections or inhaler treatments are $5 per day. For more medical information, click HERE.

How do feedings work?

We always recommend bringing your cat’s regular food as diet changes can upset the digestive system. However, if you prefer to use our food, we offer a variety of wet and dry options for $2 per day (up to three feedings).

When bringing your own food, please place in a clearly labeled airtight container or resealable bag. We have a refrigerator and freezer to accommodate any diet. Be sure to bring enough to cover the entire stay plus a little extra…just in case. All leftovers will be returned.

Please feed your pet breakfast/dinner if you are dropping off after 8am in the morning or after 5pm in the evening.

What if my cat needs daily medication?

At MeowInn, we don’t mind mixing in medicine with food or even administering a pill or liquid medicine. There is an extra charge ($5/day) for injections and inhaler treatments. ALL medicines, according to state law, must be provided in the original packaging with veterinary information and correct dosage instructions. This applies to over-the-counter supplements, as well. Please click HERE for more complete medical information.

What if my cat gets sick while at MeowInn?

Your cat is in wonderful hands while staying with us, but in the event that your kitty gets under the weather, we’ll make every attempt to contact you or your emergency contact to come up with next steps. If we are unable to establish any communication, then we will refer to our veterinarian to treat accordingly at your expense. Absent of any contact with you or your emergency contact, the veterinary practitioner’s decision is final.

What is a typical day at MeowInn?

Breakfast on most days will come around 7am. Then it’s time to settle in for that morning nap or take a gander at what’s on MeowInn TV. Maid service that includes litter box cleaning will be complete by 10am. Each kitty will take two turns (minimum 30 minutes each) in the ultra-stimulating playroom throughout the day. There’s plenty of cat nap time available before the second maid service before dinner time and a relaxing evening.

Can I bring my kitty’s favorite blanket or toy?

Absolutely! Feel free to bring up to two toys and a blanket, towel, shirt or whatever that makes your kitty more comfortable.
